After nearly half a year since taking a break from music, Ian Kenville is back and we couldn't be happier.

In December 2019, Kenville battled physical, emotional, and mental health issues that led to his hiatus. Now, he is thriving.

Kenville's return comes in the form of the new single "Brooklyn Heights".

"Brooklyn Heights has me cheering every time I listen," shared Kenville.

"After three months away, I wrote again in March for the first time with a clear head and a strong purpose. My whole outlook and approach to music had changed. I realized I needed a break to allow the season to change in this journey."

While writing the record in New York (prior to the world falling apart), the city became Kenville's home away from home.

"I have so many crucial moments in my music career tied to this place. It only feels fitting to return with this one. To all who prayed for me, talked, or were present during this season, I love you. This new chapter is gonna look different, but I think the best is still yet to come."

"Brooklyn Heights" is set to hit streaming services on May 29, 2020

Kenville promises that he has many things planned for the remainder of the year as well.
